Welcome to Lorelmo Keyneton Station

Our 5th and 6th generation family owned property, Keyneton Station, is located east of the Barossa Valley and has run a commercial sheep operation since its inception in the late 1800s.

It has obviously experienced many changes in its time to enable the land and property to continue to support the production of livestock and allow the family’s passion for farming to carry on.

In 2012, the current owners, brothers Joe and Graham and their families, took over the management of the fine wool Merino Stud, previously known as Lorelmo SA. They saw the potential of the easy care, high quality bloodlines and decided to further their passion for sheep breeding which they had experienced from the commercial side.

Our aim is to produce consistent, high quality, poll merino rams displaying elite fine wool on a medium frame which cuts lots of bright, white wool. With our commercial sheep background we also understand the importance of producing an easy care animal which will adapt to an ever changing environment.

We welcome any opportunity to share with you our passion for the merinos and to explore the past, present and future of the industry.
